**This piece produces sound. There are four white noise circuits contained on a central circuit board in the middle of the piece. Each circuit is connected to a 1/4in output jack on one of four sides of the piece. These circuits can be switched on or off independently by panel mounted toggle switches. This work does not contain built in speakers but you can connect instrument cables to each of the four sides of the plexiglass case and run them to independent speakers in four corners of a room. This allows for the creation of a surround sound environment, enveloping viewers in a persistent and overwhelming white noise.
